| She peeked out of her room at midnight to see if her balloons were hung up yet. She has never in her six years of life, opened her bedroom door, despite the fact that she has spent the majority of those nights awake. Her birthday excitement was unreal. She has reported that royal blue is her current favorite color. Although, if everything was brown she would have been just as excited, because that's how cool she is. |
| Anabelle made her a birthday butterfly, since it is Lila's favorite animal. |
| I gave her three coloring books. And look how happy she is. She is currently obsessed with coloring. She spends a good amount of every day coloring. I think all three of those books are about done. My she always be this low maintenance and easy to please. I truly value this in her. It speaks volumes about her soul. |

| She really wanted to go to the aquatic center. First we went out to breakfast at Marie Callendars, then we went to a park where she got to Skype Braden for a minute, then we went swimming. Janay kept Elise so that I could play with the girls more. I was able to take them down the big slide several times and they all loved that. |
| I asked Anabelle to sit with Lila while I took Maisey down the slide. When I came back, I couldn't find them in the kiddie pool. Anabelle had put Lila on her back and swam her to the lazy river where she was giving her rides. Truly, a golden big sister. |
| And she did the same for Maisey while I took Lila. |
Then we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and Lila got to sit on the birthday saddle. We stopped by Jeff's house on the way home so that he could fulfill Lila's one birthday request which was a new water bottle. And then he lit up a fire and made the girls all a smore.
| Right before bed I gave her these dress up jammies, which she loves. And then the net day we headed to St. George to do her birthday cake with my family. Aunt Lori made her the shark cake she requested. I think this stems from the experience she had recently at Sea World. She told me that morning that she didn't want to see sharks because they make her nervous. But when we got there she ended up spending half an hour or so petting about 25 sharks. It seemed to be an important moment for her. I think she felt like she has conquered them. When I asked her why she wanted a shark cake, she said, "Because that way I can eat him!" |

Gramma R. Gave Lila a sweet book and the perfect outfit- camaflouge pants just like her Dad, except with butterflies on them. Grandmother Connor got her a great game called "Sneaky Snacky Squirrel" which they got to play together while we were there.
She was a happy little six year old. |
