Licking up the germs in downtown OKC

We declared it family date night. For $1.75 we rode the bus around downtown Oklahoma City. We got off and played at the Myriad Gardens. Had I known that for under two dollars our kids would all look at the camera at the same time and smile genuine smiles without picking their nose or doing strange things with their bodies/faces, I would have done this long ago. Going forward, nobody should be surprised when the picture on our Christmas card is taken on the bus.

Out on the town with my favorite people, sense of adventure in the air, really loving "us".

Elise was completely adorable. I've maybe never seen her so thrilled. She was looking out the window in complete awe. She looked over at Maisey and said, "Maisey! Isn't this exciting?! We're on an inventure together and I'm so excited I'm with you!" It made my heart burst with joy. I was kind of getting misty it was so sweet, but then she started licking the hand bar and I had to go all "mother of a one week old baby" on her. It's no wonder she ended up with croup two days later.
